Mr. Carl M. McNabb 10/10/1938 - 02/08/2024 Mr. Carl Maxwell McNabb, age 85, of Newport, passed away Thursday morning, February 8, 2024 at his home. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son Roy McNabb; grandsons Cody McNabb and Jake McNabb; parents Roy and Reba McNabb; 4 sisters and a brother. Survivors include his wife Shirley McNabb of the home; daughter Carla Seay of Newport; grandsons Zach Seay and Cory Seay; granddaughters Katie McNabb and Jessica Keen and great-grandchildren Kourtnie Seay and Kory Seay. The family and friends will meet at 1:45 P.M. Monday, February 12, 2024 at Union Cemetery for the 2:00 P.M. graveside service with Pastor Glen Franklin officiating. Saddened to learn of our loss. I had the privilege of working with Carl years ago at state forestry. Always a pleasure to be around and talk to him. He'll definitely be missed.
