06/10/1949 – 02/12/2024 Mr. David Firle Parker, age 74, of Newport, passed away February 12, 2024 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Valley View Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, going to car shows and restoring cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Stephen Cole. Survivors include his daughter Michelle Cole: son Chris Bugg; grandsons Phillip (Leslie) Bugg and Bryson Crumbley and 5 great-grandchildren all of Newport. Additional survivors include many friends. The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Cremation Arrangements entrusted to Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home.Read Obituary
